The weather by me is thus:
The WeatherPixie

Greetings and salutations! My name is Lisa, and I'm your hostess for the duration of your stay. This is my LiveJournal, where I write...well, whatever I want, really. :)

So, you wanna know a little about me? Okay, then.

As of the time of this writing, I'm 26 years old. I live in West Orange, NJ with my mom and dog, a miniature dachshund named Itchie, while my husband, Ed, is going to school for underwater welding.

I graduated from Berkeley College in West Paterson with my Associates Degree in Applied Sciences for Web Design.

I love all things equine. I worked at Echo Lake Stables in Newfoundland for two years, and I made that website. I own am owned by a 14-year-old Mexican gelding named Shada, who tolerates things like me dressing him up for Halloween. He was Harry Potter last year, and was an offshoot of K9 this year called 3-QUINE.

I made the above banner. I've been a Marine girlfriend since July of 2005, and a fiancee since November of 2005, and a wife as of March 2006. We moved in together in May of 2006. I met my husband, Ed, on August 29th, 2004 and we started dating on November 7th that same year. Ed left for boot camp in August 2005, and he graduated in November three days after our one-year anniversary.

Ed is, by far, one of the best things that ever happened to me. He and I met at the Colorado Cafe on the dance floor. All he did was randomly introduce himself to me, and things went from there. He is a sweet guy with a great personality, who can ride Buckoff the mechanical bull at maximum like nobody's business and run a pool table like the pool shark he'd like to be. He can also do a mean Ghost Train. I can't seem to stay angry with this guy, and he knows it. Ed and I were engaged on November 13th, 2005 on the very dance floor we met and married at the Knights of Columbus in Rahway, NJ on March 14th, 2006.

I love to line dance. I started that little hobby last year, and I know quite a few.

My main passion is writing. I write fan fiction, and my stories can either be found in my archive on FanFiction.net or in Creative Disarray, the stories section of my website. My stories almost always feature my alter ego, Alien Lisa.

I also dabble a bit in drawing. I'm inspired by a lot of things, and a lot of my inspiration comes from Ashley Venable, due to the fact that I've been drawing her creations -- the Delphin -- for a long time and have actually drawn more than she has. :) The Art section of my site can be found here.

I am a procrastinator to the truest extent of the word. If I have something that needs to be done, I usually wait 'til the last possible second.

I have obsessions. Here's a list:
~ Ed
~ Doctor Who
~ Star Wars
~ Phantom of the Opera
~ Legend of Zelda

In addition to everything else, I also read, watch TV, play video games, and sleep.

I think that's all the basics. If you've read all this, I applaud you. You may move on to my journal, now.

Have the uncontrollable urge to buy me something? Check out my wish lists:
